Okatahi foundation is a Christian Organization that endeavors to make life better for as many people as possible.
OKATAHI FOUNDATION (OF) is a registered non-profit, faith-based, non-governmental organisation that is committed to promoting godliness and values among Nigerians. This is aimed at advancing godly morals and corrective opportunities for married couples and unmarried youth and to build scriptural sensitive, moral conscious and responsible leaders through effective Bible communication strategies.
The foundation was formed in memory of Rev (Dr.) Stephen Okatahi who lived a humble and selfless life for God and humanity. His good works will continue after him.
To reduce ungodly lifestyles by promoting godly conduct and excellence.
·To promote holiness, Godly living, Christian conduct and true worship;
·To advocate for Biblical values, principles and practices through sound scriptural teachings;
·To inspire and encourage Christian leadership, communication and life skills;
·To reduce prostitution through rehabilitation of commercial sex workers;
·To reduce poverty and restore dignity in labour through skills acquisition and training for identified persons;
· To discourage marital unfaithfulness among married couples and sexual impurity among youth;
·To reduce illiteracy through scholarships awards, financial and legal assistance to the less privileged;
·To provide humanitarian services and charity, including boreholes to deserving communities; etc.
To enthrone Christ and scriptural values in families and communities through effective teaching of God’s Word. This foundation will be used as an instrument of God until Jesus comes back for His saints.
To improve our society (Nigeria) by education, empowerment and ideas. To go back to Biblical basics through developed skills, values, talents and godly mentorship.
As a faith-based NGO, our strategies include:
· Advocating holiness and excellence through Bible-based teachings of God’s Infallible Word. The overall aim is to promote godly lifestyles and scriptural solutions to life’s issues in an ungodly environment;
·Establishing rehabilitation centres and functional skills acquisition programs for the less-priviledged and prostitutes;
·Contribute to quality living through poverty alleviation / community and social intervention programs.
OF is founded on the scriptural values of: GODLINESS, FAITH, HOLINESS, PERSISTENCE, HONESTY and SERVICE in pursuit of Godly excellence.

·Rehabilitation, education, and shelter orphans and internally displaced persons
·Successful guidance, counselling, mentoring and rehabilitation of over 20 former prostitutes
· Residence for prostitutes in Jikwoyi, Karu L. G. A. of Nasarawa State
·On-going entrepreneurship training and financial empowerment of prostitutes
·Sexual Reproductive Health seminar for churches; etc.
·Library Project in Okengwe, Okene, Kogi State
· Bore Hole Project in Okengwe, Okene, Kogi State
·Scholarship for primary, secondary and tertiary instruction students;
·Youth Reproductive Health and Substance Abuse seminar for junior and Secondary schools
·Conducted seminars on substance abuse and peer pressure for various schools
·Assisted internally displaced children due to religious violence in various parts of Nigeria and successfully relocated them to Orphanage in Kaduna
OKATAHI Foundation believes in the sanctity of marriage and seeks to empower people with basic knowledge of God’s Word to live godly and holy lives to God, shunning immoral and indiscriminate sexual relationships outside of marriage. OF also aim to discourage prostitution by empowering teenage commercial sex workers with basic life skills to keep them away from circumstances that bring them to red-light districts.
